ASLEE Project
Xanthella was the project leader of the unique and highly innovative Algal Solutions for Local Energy Economy (ASLEE) project, which investigated using rural renewable energy potential to locally manufacture algae for grid balancing. Within the project, Xanthella further developed its PBR systems to an industrial scale resulting in the 1000 L Pandora PBR.

ENBIO Project
The Energy Bioeconomy (ENBIO) project was created as a follow-up of the previous ASLEE work, now focusing on using energy when and where it is produced alongside local commercial co-products for algal production in order to replace algal imports, boost local businesses, and promote a more circular economy.
